Logo Design Contest - Call for Participation

Oman Association for Quality in Higher Education (OAQHE) is an independent, non-profit association of Omani Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) focused on enhancing the quality of higher education. OAQHE is looking for a new visual identity and is seeking the support of the academic community to design a creative, innovative, and professional logo. The logo should be recognizable and help promote our association’s mission and vision.

Vision

To be recognized as the leading independent association for quality enhancement in higher education in the MENA region.

Mission

To act as a facilitator in enhancing quality within higher education in the Sultanate of Oman, through the sharing of ideas, research, and good practice.

Entry Procedures:

  1. The design must be submitted to philip.barber@majancollege.edu.om

    make sure you mention below information while submitting via email:

    -Name 

    -Institute 

    -Contact number

    -Contact Email

    -Brief description of the logo

    -Attach file

  2. The logo must adapt well to electronic and print media, to reproduction on small and large surfaces, and to use in color or in grayscale.
  3. Original source file must be in .jpg (the source file from the winner will be requested at a later stage)
  4. The entry form needs to be submitted along with the design.

Logo Requirements

Theme: Logo must endorse the mission and vision of OAQHE.

Size: Logo should look good and be legible at all sizes.

Color: There are no limitations and any colors may be used. However, the designer needs to explain the purpose and meaning of the colors used.

Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material.

Professional: Logo should be eye-catching and professional.

Submissions to be received no later than June 30th, 2017.

Selection Criteria

OAQHE Executive Committee will select the winner based on three criteria; compliance of OAQHE’s mission and vision, aesthetic appeal, and creativity. Contestants agree that all submitted entries become the property of OAQHE.
